I’m not sure how I feel when I come across a photo of a man having sex with a real looking sex doll. On one hand, I find it comical, but on the other hand, I can’t help but wonder if it’s disturbing. I mean, would that really be considered a “pleasurable” experience to actually have sex with something that looks like a person, but is not a person?
At first, when I first stumbled upon these images, I thought it was just some kind of art project or social experiment. After all, sex dolls have been around for a while now and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that there are probably people out there who purchase them and use them for “actual” pleasure-seeking purposes.
Needless to say, I was pretty appalled by the notion that someone would see that kind of encounter as a legitimate form of pleasure. I definitely don’t think it’s something normal or socially acceptable. What kind of message does this kind of behavior send?
I’m sure some people will view it as a way for people to explore themselves without having to involve real people. But does that really excuse the fact that a human-like looking doll is being used in a sexual manner? In my opinion, no. It’s just plain wrong.
Moreover, the thought of it being considered a source of pleasure for a person that doesn’t have a heart, a brain, or any emotions, is just jaw-droppingly weird to me. I mean, what are these people actually trying to get out of it? Is it just a way to act out a fantasy? How would that really be pleasurable?
I guess the only thing we can really do in this situation is respect the individual’s privacy and keep an open mind. As for whether or not it’s an acceptable practice, that’s something that ultimately depends on a the individual’s personal preference and opinion. Though I can’t help but feel a bit uncomfortable every time I come across a picture or video of a man having sex with a sex toys doll woman, I’m ultimately not here to judge.
The moral implications of this act going on and becoming more accepted in society can’t be denied. Will it be one of those ordinary sights that eventually just becomes a normal aspect of everyday life? Will we just shrug it off and accept it? Will it become part of our life in such a way that we don’t even pay attention to it anymore?
It’s almost like we have to get used to the thought of someone getting intimate with an inanimate object. Is this really something we should consider ethical? I mean, sex dolls are becoming more and more realistic and if I were to see a particular photo of someone engaged in such an act, would I be able to separate the doll from the person in my head and view it just as a form of entertainment or pleasure-seeking?
For me, that’s something I’m still trying to discover. It’s hard to wrap my head around what it would really be like if such a thing were accepted in society. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens in the future and Penis Rings take one day at a time.
